Cuddle Me Beach Coats are owned and manufactured by Mortels Sheepskin Factory. The Mortel family has been manufacturing and retailing sheepkin products in the Hunter Valley for nearly 30 years and prior to their move to the City of Maitland, Mortels were making leather shoes, sheepskin ugg boots and slippers in Sydney since 1958.

Mortels are well known for quality sheepskin products and are proud to be able to produce these unique coats. Mortels started making Cuddle Me Beach Coats in 2004 right here in Australia, supporting Australian jobs, and have mostly retailed the coats from our two stores and through local markets. Cuddle Me Beach Coats have quickly become popular with more and more discovering how fabulously useful and practical this product really is. We have put a huge effort into ensuring a good design, great towels, in both colours and quality are sourced, and with our skilled people, the result is a quality product that wears well and is so comfortable.
